Terms of Service

The rules for using FaceBlur.org (faceblur.org).

Last updated: 2026-10-22

About the service

FaceBlur.org finds faces in your videos and photos and covers them with blur, pixelation or a solid box. You choose who stays clear. Photo blur and Private mode run in your browser; see the Privacy Policy for how files are handled.

Check before you publish

Automatic face detection is not perfect. It can miss faces that are small, turned to the side, partly hidden, blurred by motion, or only on screen for a moment, and it can sometimes cover things that are not faces. Watch the result before you share it. You are responsible for making sure every face that must be hidden is hidden. We are not liable for a face that the tool did not cover.

Acceptable use

You must be at least 13 years old. You may only process videos and photos you have the right to use. You must not use the service to:

  • harass, stalk, defame or expose anyone;
  • try to reveal or reverse a blur that someone else applied;
  • process content that sexualises minors or anyone without consent;
  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights.

Credits and payments

Paid plans are not on sale yet, and nothing on the site can be bought today. Before checkout opens we will add here what credits buy, how long they last, whether a plan renews, and the refund rules. Those terms will apply only to orders placed after they are published.

Your content

You keep all rights in your videos and photos. Files handled in your browser are never sent to us. If you later use Cloud mode, you give us a limited licence to process your file only to deliver the result you asked for.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Optional usage statistics

You can let us count which steps you use. This is optional. Sign-in, video blurring, and payment work either way. You can turn it off here at any time.

Optional usage statistics are off.
